Just got back from the theater. I watched League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, finally. [There shouldn't be any spoilers in here apart from what you already saw in the trailers]. Not sure what to write about it yet. I enjoyed it. It was muchly entertaining. Later I realized that all characters have an amazing lack of depth and character development. I wonder if it's better in the graphic novel? Other than that it was fun. Can't decide which character I liked best. Dorian Gray had a lot of cool lines. From the trailers and stuff I read I thought it'd like Skinner best but then he was barely features so I really have no grounds to like him, do I? Jekyll was cute in his shyness, but again, he had no depth, so I can't tell. The only character to have semi-depth is Tow Sawyer and he's not even supposed to be there. I liked Nemo's fighting style, so I'll pick him XD.

One thing kept screaming in my head though, and I'll loosely quote Indiana Jones: "Nazis, why did it have to be Nazis?". So yeah, we all know they weren't really Nazis, but evil stupid Germans who carry out any order... been there, done that. *yawns*

That's all.

Right now I've got a horrid headache. The day's been rough. Been praying for rain all week so I didn't have to go to my flat with the parents today and paint the doors. Unfortunately, all my predictions that it would rain were ignored and I was kicked out of bed in the wee hours and had to make my way to this wretched place. And sure enough, the rain set in as requested (thanks, weather god), but only when I was already kneeling in front of the door, sanding it down, getting covered in sticky blue dust. I looked like Krishna, really. And even worse, dad hadn't brought any kind of mask, so I breathed in a good portion of that crap. After I spit up blue slime I decided to take some action and duct taped a Kleenex across my face. That worked a bit.

Rain got heavier, paint turned shitty, everybody got wet, whole trip a total disaster. I predict that the paint will never dry, it'll look droppy and ugly and we shouldn't have done it in the first place at that time. But nobody's listening to me, are they.

On the brighter side, I managed to clean the living room entirely, damaged things got fixed, Draco poster was put up and mom helped me sweep the floors. So, at least my flat is pretty inside now.

Now I just need to rest my head. My arms are gonna hurt like hell tomorrow. Sanding really is strenuous. And my lungs hurt ;_;. I breathed in way too much blue dust already.

but where are you know - at your parents? sorry about the painting but maybe it'll look good once you get used to it. What are your plans for the weekend? I miss you. When does school start again? Never? LOL. It seems so! Work is still going fine, got my own desk and direct number and feel important plus the job's much more relaxed then the other one and we've got our own corner which is very cozy, plus it feels good to work days instead of nights and I'll definitely be happy when I get the salary statement! The only bad thing is I'm quite sentimental about school, thinking about how fun it was one year ago etc etc. I will call Rickard now and ask about the baby. Malin works the whole night and tomorrow. The degree felt like a big anti-climax. Can't wait until Monday night when the Grand Celebration (TM) is. Good thing is I have a dental appointment at Tuesday morning so I don't have get up until 8 15 which means I don't have to be in bed until 00.30-01.00 on Monday. And since we'll be at the restaurant at 7 already we'll be home by ten and have lots of time to relax with superyummy chocolate cake in the fridge and the Henkell Trocken bought one week ago. And the boys will be here for the picture taking and the bubbly. Miss you loads. I hope you are doing OK. *hugs*

Waaaaaaaaaaah! I didn't have a chance yet! I came back from an exhausting day around midnight and then I posted a bit on LJ and chatted around and now I just got up! Have some patience! -_-

Right now I'm home, i.e. parents, yes. And we tarted up the flat a bit which is good. Makes going back there easier. School does start again, next week, to be precise. Around the 13th. Guess it's time. Starting to get bored.

Anyway, congratulations! Although I must admit I'm confused. I thought you already had graduated! O.o;

No, I finished school in July, yes. But then it takes a minimum of 8-12 weeks before you actually get your degree. Which I have been waiting for ever since and calling the school and asking them when it's due etc. Did I not post this on my LJ or in e-mail to you privately? My bad. Anyway, I got my degree only yesterday, the ad goes in the paper Tuesday and I'm expecting a fucking e-Card from you, OK? And I envy you oh young one who art still in school.
