AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*

*Li has now an LJ and is asking about mine and wants me to tell her and add her and this means she will know everything about me she has never known before she's most likely going to find it and then she will hate me or worse and everything I've always tried to avoid will happen and then she'll be mad or I have to go in hiding and it's just not right to have your ex read your LJ so either I have to be friends only now or just leave the country or maybe get a second LJ or edit everything out till kingdom come or lie to her but then there's only more lies and I've lied to her so much already oh God please no what am I supposed to do?!?!?!?

start another lj. keep this one secret, give the link to the new one, and never post much on it =P

play it fair and just add her. you have nothing to loose. more lies just means more problems....

You can make all those entries private or you can divide your friends into groups...one group for all of your friends and one group that just has her. Then make all of the entries that have to do with her friends-only for your "all friends" group. I did that when my ex got one.

You do not, not, not have to add her to your LJ list nor give her your name. And you certainly shouldn't have to go into hiding on account of her.

Editing/censoring your journal because of another person just seems like a horrible idea to me. And being forced into 'friends-only' mode is another form of censorship, I think.

I think you should tell her that it's great that she's on LJ, but that you'd rather if she didn't read your journal. If you've lied to her a lot in the past, maybe you could come clean now: say that you wouldn't feel comfortable having her read about your life, and you hope she can understand that.

I just realized that every person gave you a different piece of advice! I read them all, but I still say, don't add her if you'll feel uncomfortable. Because I've added people that I've not wanted to before, and I felt so awkward about posting after that.

But whatever you choose, make sure it's what *you* want, and don't let her manipulate you at all.

warn her that if you give her the link she'll be able to read stuff she might not want to. i don't like lying or dishonesty. and if she doesn't like what you write it's her problem. or just don't give her the link. whatever. whatever makes you feel good. or least bad.

miss you...
