Okay... they say when God closes a door somewhere, he also opens a window somewhere else. Of course it's kinda cheesy, but I must say, it proved to be true many times in my life before. Mainly when I was worried about financial issues. I was SO out of money, I was sad and depressed because I couldn't buy stuff I wanted and this and that etc. Like the past few weeks. If you read my LJ you know that I broke Vincent and that it depressed me endlessly and I cried because having him repaired costs more than my monthly salary which I owe my dad for something else already anyway, which meant that I was out of money for the next 2 months although I had expected them *desperately* since, of course, I wanted to see my girlfriend in 2 or 3 months.

Now, I sent Vincent out to be repaired anyway. I need him after all. Last week then, I checked my balance and I noticed that I had more money that I thought I should. Not insanely more, but a wee bit. Then, yesterday I got my bank statements and saw that my salary was twice as high as it should be. Either, I got a raise which my boss promised my since August, or I got my Christmas gratuity. Anyway, I've got more money. Today, the repaired Vincent arrives and the invoice says "0.00". o_O Does that mean I got it for free? I wanted to call and ask if that was a mistake, but my dad said I shouldn't be so silly and just wait and play dumb.

I mean... I don't dare to cheer just yet. Maybe my boss realizes tomorrow that she gave me too much money and wants it back, and then the Psion folks remember to send the real invoice... So... I won't. But it's kinda weird... isn't it?

Sent an admin note to Slashers Unite. I hate it how inconsiderate some people are regarding spoilers. I mean, there IS a life before a movie! Yes! Really! And there even are people who haven't read the books at all yet and still want to be surprised! *shakes head*

Well, no damage done so far, but the way they usually act I can just wait until the first message of "OH MY GOD!!!! This and that was sooo coooooool!!!" in the subject line arrives.

*mutters curses*

Yay! I feel SO good!

I was just straightening out my video list and I thought I'd add the episode titles of the Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne episodes that I've downloaded. Unfortunately, the only episode guide I found didn't have the Japanese titles of the first episodes. So, I just put on the video and wrote them down by listening comprehension, then looked up the words to check if they correlate with teh translations that can be found. And I was always right! Weeeeeh! What an ego boost! The only toughy was episode 7. That took me 10 mins or so! I couldn't quite understand if it was "deka" or "geka" or whatever and none of it would fit and reading the title wouldn't help either because it was so full of kanjis and as everyone knows I'm a kanji-dyslexic... gah. Anyway, I'm not *quite* sure about this one word, but the rest is for sure. I *think* it is oyako geka! saigo no take. Well, I can live with one letter maybe not being correct! Weeeeeeeh!

Yay! Vincent's back, yo!

Just imported my old data back onto repaired Vincent. I managed to restore my agenda and all. The only thing I couldn't restore is the address book.... T_T Ah well. Guess I have to type it all back in again! *sighs*

But it's great to have Vincey back!
