I was just sitting around outside on the ground some when Sherlock came towards me. He rubbed himself against my hand and knee and then curled up next to me, purring loudly *_*. I petted him lovingly for a while. Then I started noticing that his fur was really hot where the sun was shining on it directly. I could barely touch it, so hot was it. Sher seemed to like it though. When I decided to go back inside I got this directional thermometer dad has which you can point at things and it tells you the temperature on the surface. I used it on Sher's coat and it said 62°C!!! x_x;;; That's 144°F! Woah...
