Meh, after reading dinahrae's post saying "So. John Brandis dead. Great. Bye bye my little ickle teencrush, I still watch SeaQuest beacuse of you (and the dorkieness that is Ted Raimi). Hell, I've watched Sidekicks so often, my eyes have started to bleed on ocassion. Wah wibble. Hope you're ok, wherever you are now." I'm trying to find information about it, but no website that usually what talk about it or anything mentions it! What the hell is going on? ;_;

Apparently it's only a small newspaper that has the info about his death; they haven't released the obituary yet because they suspect foul play & are waiting for the coroner's report to come out...

Reuter, E!Online, CNN, IMDB... none of the sites that usually are reliable sources for entertainment news have any information up on this. I can't even find rumors. What exactly IS rumored to have happened? O.o;

Yes, I just found that link somewhere, but somehow I have great doubts that any old joe can call up a coroner and retrieve information like that. I mean, come on! Isn't that supposed to be confidential? O.o; Not that I'm somehow in denial, I mean I don't really care about him all that much other than I'd care for other people of public interest, but this is confusing the hell out of me. Usually people issue an official press release pretty soon and don't just hush hush everything. Circumstances would have to be extremely shady for that. This is all very strange. Still reading though.

How weird is that! After some research I've decided for myself that this must be a fake. All information I can find on the matter is on obscure little websites, the original article that is supopsed to have spawned the rumours isn't accessible, and any information I can find is between 8 and 5 days old, I think that after a whole week the press would start reporting it, if there was the faintest chance that it was true.

Speaking of the truth, what's going on with Roy at the moment? A few days ago I read something devastating about him being only kept alive by machines and "it's only a matter of time before someone turns the machines off", and just a day afterwards I hear that he's as good as new and they all believe that he'll be able to work again soon. Huh?!

I seriously don't know what to think. I too find it extremely fishy that all the reports are based on one measly website and that you get oodles of reports of fans who supposedly had hour-long chats with the coroner or something. Yeah right. On the other hand, I find it suspicious that the family / agents / actor himself don't hurry to slam the rumor as soon as it came up, ya know? So, it's just all very odd.

And yeah, I heard that Roy thing. IMO, both sides are painting the situation better or worse than it really is. It's really hard to get ANY decent information on this. The paper that reported Roy was close to death was The Globe which is known for such reliable reports such as "I had Elvis' alien baby" and the like, so I don't really owe them much credibility. On the other hand, I also get the impression Siegfried & Co are making everything look much BETTER than it is. From Siegfried's reports you get the impression Roy is having a great time, joking around and being super. I don't think that's true either. Wish I could get any real news on that...

Haha, yeah, that's the best part, the coroner giving out information to random people on the phone. I don't know if there are any laws in the USA, but it should be impossible. Supposing that it's a hoax, sooner or later Jonathan Brandis will get people calling him and asking "Are you dead? They say on the internet that you are!" How creepy must that be.

I think it's reasonable for Siegfried and other who are close to him would try to be as hopeful as possible. Considering that the press will turn every bit of information they can get into a horror story. It doesn't make a difference anyway, so let's just hope for the best.
