Okay, apparently there's no good show left in the world. Even the ones I thought were good and didn't have these moralistic / christian / uberamerican traits always end up disappointing me ;_;. I was just watching Judging Amy and there she asked some cop about a theoretic case. At least I think it was, I didn't see the beginning. Anyway, this is what I heard.
She asked him what he'd do with a 13 year old Swedish boy that committed a crime. They ended up agreeing that he'd have to be deported and then it'd be left to the Swedish government what to do with him. And then he said that he'd probably end up in the army and that the average recruiting age of Sweden is between 12 and 15 and that Sweden has been in a war for over 50 years.
...
THE FUCK?!?
I'm... lacking words. Utterly. This doesn't make sense whatsoever! O.o;;; I don't even remember the last time Sweden was involved in any war.
Edit
Urgh. Okay, watched the rest now. Apparently Amy took this random Swedish boy as an example since they couldn't talk about the case and the cop got the idea and just assumed they were talking about the Afghan boy and this is why his answer ended up so odd. But still! Out of context this was outrageous >_<. What if someone else watched this and then moved on and now thinks Sweden is such a country? Bleh... I hate stuff like that.
But there's a good thing about it. At least Judging Amy doesn't suck now! XD
