Here goes:
he's sitting in this uber-tiny room. that's his entire apartment. living space is expensive in Japan. it's crammed with stuff. he also has hundreds of these dolls. he works in a publishing house. he has no family or friends. he builds these dolls all day. they are his friends. with them he feels less lonely. they're his conversation partners. interviewer points out that they don't answer. yes, but in his heart they answer him.
Note, usually I'm a little bit more eloquent when I'm chatting ^.^;. But I was still watching and I was shocked and sorta tired too... it still sounds cool!
But this guy... he's freaking me out.
"You can't compare a woman to a doll. A doll can't talk back. She can't hurt me."
"I like dolls of weak women. Women that cry a lot."
