1) If you could learn from one artist, living or dead, who would you choose and why?

That's tough! There are so many nice artists to choose from... Hm, really hard. There are different aspects from different artists that I would like to learn and making a choice just doesn't seem right. Also, I count writers into this group and again, there's such an endless variety. But a choice would be... William Bouguereau, Eugène Delacroix, Théodore Géricault, John Singer Sargent, Giambattista Tiepolo... so much for realism. Vincent Van Gogh, of course... You Higuri... writers: J.D. Salinger (even though he hates people! LOL), Franz Kafka, Wolfgang Borchert, Margaret Atwood... Ack, this isn't working. I need to think about this more I guess! ^_^;

2) Describe your favourite clothes when you were five years old (or the first you can remember).

Hm, I don't really remember a lot of my clothes, to be honest. For a long time my mom just picked them for me! But I remember very clearly when I wanted to have a pair of linen pants with braces, a simple shirt and a cap. I called it my street urchin outfit. Not sure how old I was then... 7 or so.

3) What is your first memory?

I remember looking out of my crib, wrapped up in my yellow blanket with the orange stripes and a woman with short red hair (my mom) and a woman with shoulder-length dark and curly hair are looking in.

4) If you would lose one of your senses, but you could choose it, which would you choose and why?

Urgh, that's tough... Let's see... smell, no way. And it goes together with taste, so that won't work. Besides, tasting is nice ^_^;. Vision, no go either, too important to me. Same with hearing. I love music too much and listening to sounds is important and nice! That only leaves touch. Meow... I like my tactile sense. But I guess IF I had to spare one, this could be it. Reluctantly, of course.

5) Which three books are on top of your Have-to-Buy-Next-list?

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE WITH THE US VERSION??? DOES IT END DIFFERENTLY??

There's barely no difference. I just prefer the US to the British version, but couldn't get it in time. IMO, the US version has a better cover art, better typeset, better paper quality, better everything. Each chapter starts with cute vignettes which are also drawn by the very talented Mary GrandPré whom I appreciate muchly. Also, as mentioned before, the typeset is a lot nicer. Letters have a different font, and they try to imitate signs, signatures etc. I like that a lot better than the British version that is just plain text that's only indented every now and then >_<;. Oh, and the difference there is is that the spelling was adjusted to US, but that's not a huge difference. Some words are different, too. Not sure exactly, but I think the British version uses spell-o-tape or so and in the US it's some US typed brand spoof. But not sure. But stuff like that. And in the fourth book McG shook her finger at the Quidditch team as opposed to the British version where she shook her fist! XD

Anyway, no different ending, sorry! ^_^;

Well that's good! that the story doesn't change. i thought ot was one of those things, you know how films have different endings in the US than they have in the rest of the world because the US audience is considered more vulnerable. E.g. Fatal Attraction. BTW, Ron's little planet-joke made me positively surprised last night! That's exactly something a giddy fifteen year old guy would say, but it's not something parents would like their kids to read in a book. So I was happy. I bet that's something the US version would censor!
