Went to a Sam's Club of sorts store today and bought mucho nice things. Well, parents did, but it's gonna be yummy. We're having a party this weekend (parents' combined b-day party), so there will be lots of nice food stuffs. Bro and I also got some fried feta cheese and I bought some ready-made feta pita. I had one of them for dinner and it was uber-yummy. Mmmmmmmh. I also got a package of snackable surimi o.o. And some Kitkats. Collecting bonus points, yesiree. And dad bought a shitload of candy stuffs. Yummy... And the by far coolest thing was that I found a codefree DVD player for as little as 50$! I battled my guilt a bit and then went ahead and bought it! Finally I can watch my Clerks DVD again! *huggles it* And The Talented Mr. Ripley and all those region 1 DVDs I had! ;_; I'm so happy...

Meesah ish pleased...

What's the catch???? No warranty? will it fall to pieces next week? what?

I don't know if there's a catch! LOL! I was amazed myself, so I snatched it. There was only one left, so I didn't give myself a lot of time to decide. Also, everytime my dad left the cart somewhere I said "If someone steals the player off the cart I'm gonna be mad!" So far I can't see a catch. It looks very pwetty and it's a renowned company, too, not some noname junk. *shrugs* I'm just gonna count my blessings. It has a karaoke function too! XD Bro and I amused ourselves yesterday watching movies and then putting the pitch up and down. I guess it's for when you're singing and it's too high or too low for you. But to us it was endlessly amusing to see Ewan McGregor talk like Mickey Mouse all of a sudden XD. You can also select "moods". First I was wondering what the frigging deal was, since why would I want a movie to sound as if it was being played in a cathedral! But then we figured that it was probably for the karaoke stuff, too. Oh, and it can bookmark stuff too! Haven't tested it yet, but it looks nifty.

Warranty is two years, so that looks okay, too o.o. And it's very sturdily made, unlike the one I had before. I had a Yamakawa DVD Player before which was also promised to be codefree but then it turned out that you had to *downgrade* the firmware first to be able to switch it off and it didn't work every time and it just was very annoying. Not to mention the fact that it just died one day for no obvious reason. And I paid 150€ or so then. It was really crappily made, because it really was just a computer drive put into a player shell. Geeze... well this one's nice though.

Dried feta is very yummy. You know, like when you fry camembert with a bready crust? Same thing, only different cheese. And I do eat certain kinds of fish. My vegetarianism is mainly based on aestheticism, meaning normal meat simply disgusts me. I hate the texture and the sounds it makes when I bite it. Not to mention all the sinews and veins and EW! I can eat fish when it's soft and I don't see any of the above mentioned stuff. And Surimi is so nice and soft and clean that it's okay, even though I can only have very little before it starts grossing me out.

And yes, we all have our birthdays within two weeks >_<. Doesn't that sucks? First it's my dad on July 25th, then it's my on the 28th, then a bit later it's mom on August 8th. If you want to count Sabby, he comes in at the 1st, too. And then Tom's is on December 21st and my bro's is on the 24th!!! Poor me!!!
