My sister says that in Europe you guys use a different kind of vcr technology, the PAL (?) system. Here we use VHS, and they aren't compatible. ....So, if this is true, you won't be able to play my Sherlock tapes. Sorry about all this!

And actualyl VHS simply is the video tape format. We use it too. What you guys in the US use is NTSC (sometimes dubbed as Never The Same Color XD), and my VCR can play that, too ^_^. So, no worries. The only thing I would have troubles with is this super-duper long play that some people use. That one I can't play because such slow recording isn't used here. We only have SP and LP. Meow. But I understand that it probably is too much of a hassle to get the tapes here. Postage is just too expensive ;_;. Too bad this is too unpopular to find as .avi or so... meow.
