I need help from you guys! I know there are lots of uber-slashfens around who also know the old shows (George?). I've just watched a music vid that had SO many scenes and I don't know a bunch of them! But I wanna know! There seem to be some extremely slashy moments in those old shows! For one, I had NO idea Starsky and Hutch were THAT gay. I must admit, I mostly know about them from reading "Textual Stalkers" by Henry Jenkins. I've seen very few episodes. I thought most of this was wishful thinking, but DAMN! Is that eh... one of them (whoever is Starsky and whoever is Hutch) bending down the other one in a dramatic kiss?? What the hell is going on? O.o So, if you guys are willing, please dl this video here:

00:22: Who's that other guy with Methos? I've never watched Highlander... *blush*
00:45: Meow?!? John Glover in bed with another men? Do my eyes deceive me?? What's this?
01:16: O.o; Mew? Starsky and Hutch almost kissing??
01:32: Guy pushing someone else off the bed. No clue who this is!
01:39: Is that Starsky & Hutch too? The other guy looks so strange...
01:41: And who are those two? and the two following who're kicking in the door.
02:07: That's the Starsky & Hutch almost-kiss I meant O.o
02:29: Who's the guy highfiving Krycek? It probably isn't Krycek but Nicholas Lea in a different role...
02:34: Old dudes?
02:41: What's going on here?? Duncan against Methos? What?
02:59: No clue who that is.

George me? LOL Because what, I like TOS and Quantum Leap? LOL
I'll check out the video but I don't even know why STarsky and Hutch are, or what they're from, so I'm dubious that'll be able to help. :x

Oh wow, that was a fun video!

I recognised several shows but not all of them were old, per se. Here's what I recognised:

Smallville (obviously!)
Star Wars (original series)
Star Wars (new series)
Harry Potter 1&2
Quantum Leap
Star Trek the Original Series
Stargate SG-1 (tv series)
Xena
X-Files
Bulletproof Monk (I think)
Velvet Goldmine

If you want specifics of what series is what scene I can try to do a run down for you.

I want to see whatever show that John Glover was in, he was lovely!!!

That was a lovely and highly slashtastic video. I don't know some of those really 60's looking shows. I want to say Maverick or Get Smart or something but I don't think it's either.

LOL okay! Thanks anyway. I recognized all of them myself. Except for Bulletproof Monk (XD!!!!! You know what I wrote first? Mulletproof Bonk! Jesus!). Which scene was that? o.o I also found Man from U.N.C.L.E. Maverick wasn't there o.o. At least I didn't see it. There was an itsy-bitsy scene from In & Out, namely the kiss at the side of the road.

Oh well, thanks for the help! I'm gonna continue in my efforts to find out what his it! ^_^; Loved the Quantum Leap bits! *g* Yes, it really is slashtastic!

In retrospect I don't think it's Bulletproof Monk but perhaps Shanghai Nights? I'm really unclear, but it has Owen Wilson and that Chinese man . . . ?

I don't know U.N.C.L.E., I'm afraid.

I love the QL bits too. Makes me want to rewatch the series.
Or write drabbles for the quantumleap100 community. :)

w00t! Nice icon! ^_~ God, that part with Kirk "Looking good..." cracked me up! XD

You don't know Starsky & Hutch? o.o I mean, I don't know them well but I know they were one of the first slash couples really, among Kirk / Spock and Man from U.N.C.L.E. They're going to remake it with Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson and they already said it's going to have homoerotic tendencies, so we're not the only ones to see this! XD

I don't know U.N.C.L.E. either -- never even heard of that one.
Guess I'm loyal to just the Kirk/Spock. :D
