I had planned to make that post already two days ago, but somehow I never quite found the words for it. But I owe this to Jessi and her generosity to publicly thank her. So here goes:

A couple of days ago I was logging on in the morning to find a mail by the LJ team telling me my paid account was running out T_T. Now I'm seriously broke right now, so I knew I'd have to put this off for a while now before considering getting one. That was very depressing. Now two days ago I log in again and find another email with the subject "Paid Account" and I already thoughts "Meh, now they're going to tell me I've lost my paid account *sobs*". But instead this mail told me that lj-user mamechan has generously given me two months of paid account! I was speechless. I hadn't expected anything like that at all and then I suddenly found myself faced with such unexpectedly kindness. It made me all teary-eyed. Of course I thanked her in person as soon as I had the chance, but I jsut wanted to put it down here for me to remember and for others to know.

I have given other people paid accounts before, too. It felt good to be able to "share the love", so to speak, while cash was still flowing. Then I was facing financial difficulties myself and saw the same kindness returned. Good Karma... yes. This is what touches me so, that even though it's sometimes quiet and you may not know people all too well, you're yet part of their life because you read what they write about day by day and suddenly you are part of that community and are given a helping hand in a time of need. This is very touching indeed...

So, grouphug to all you out there. You are appreciated.
