X-Men 2!

Those of you who have talked to me over the past couple of days may have become witness of my growing obsession with the upcoming X-Men 2 movie. Having a strong craving for all things Nightcrawler-related I took the trailer that was in front of Daredevil and dissected it into all the pictures that impressed me the most. And of course an extra dose of Nightcrawler. If I can't have Gambit, let me at least enjoy my Nightcrawler! *^_^*

Hey, what about Nightcrawler! He's sexy toooooo! *insists* And yeah, Jubilee is in the movie, but not in the trailer. Shadowcat was in the trailer but her scenes were too short to snap a decent picture of her.

Please ignore the cartoon whenever you think about X-Men canon, okay? It's about as far away from how they're really supposed to be as possible. Jubilee actually is kinda decent in the comics. She's young, but not annoying! Her powers aren't really that great. She was in the first movie, too, btw, but you hardly noticed her. She was sitting in class, two seats away from Rogue or so.

i think i've only read one comic. maybe i should try to find more. Jubilee is soooooooooo annoying in the cartoon though - all she does is be dumb and need rescuing.

hmmm, this makes me want to a] rewatch the first movie and b] read x-men slash.

Fleur and I watched the first movie and it was such a pleasant revival ^_^. Wolverine and Cyclops! Nyahahaha! They only pretend to be both interested in Jean! They really want to get into each others' pants! XD

*giggles* I'm surprised you didn't know Nightcrawler was in it! I was so excited when I learnt it. It's at least a small consolation for still having no Gambit *sniffs*.

And yes, now that you show me this I remember having seen your Nightcrawler icon before! *hearts comics* Yes, he was always a highlight when he appeared in Uncanny X-Men! XD Or that Gambit special where he steals Gambit's turkey sandwich and gets his ass fried! Nyahahaha!

Uhm, he looks like Nightcrawler in the *comics*, the way he should look. I loathe the Nightcrawler in this deplorable cartoon, but that's just my particular view as a canon purist.

And the nighty on Nighty is cute XD. I've seen the leather-jacket look, too, though and that was pretty neat, too.

Oh, I know he looks like he does in the comics (although I am exceedingly pleased he isn't wearing shoulderpads! ;-), I've been an X-Men reader for about 15 years. :) I also think that he happens to be veryvery cute in the cartoon, which is the only reason I watch it. To oogle the cuteness. *G* (Some of the other characters make me want to gauge out my eyes, but I always fast forward through their bits. *grins*)

Hehe, okay. But I'm still glad they decided to stick to the comic and not the cartoon. I couldn't bear seeing Nightcrawler with that long hair. He would have looked too teeny for my taste. But I agree, no shoulderpads definitely is a bonus O.o;;;

If you wouldnt mind giving away one of your secrets I am curious what you used to get the screen shots of the trailer.

It's not half as sophisticated as you think it might be! I mere "printed" the screen and pasted it into my graphic processor. Since it wouldn't work with the window open normally I resized it by a notch and somehow this worked! It was a .mov-file. Usually those are a lot bitchier to screencap, so I assume it's got something to do with the resizing. If it's an .avi or .mpg you just need to try it several times and then it usually works (if it doesn't you just get a black plain where the image should be).
