I know this may sound odd after bashing Smallville so much and all. And I still think the show is extremely stupid and a collect point for X-Files rejects... and still. It's such a cheap trick, but I feel for it. I can't close my eyes to the slashiness of it! x_x Thing is, I can't get my hands on a lot of episodes yet, but I have ... urges. So, is there anybody who knows SV well slashwise and would be willing to give me the lowdown? That'd be very appreciated! Thanks! ^_^

As bad as the show may be, the slash really is pretty blatant. I've got no claims on being the most knowledgeable person in the SV fandom - there are people out there who seem to know every way a character's mind works - but I like to think I'm pretty well-versed in canon (and fandom, too). The thing that bugs me the most is that this show is such an obvious slashbait. They wave potential couples on front of your eyes (not only slash, actually, but het, too) in order to draw people to the screen and make them ignore the mile-wide plotholes. And I'm so stupid and fell for it! ^.^;;;

Ah yes, the slashbait. The shy smiles, sideways glances, eyefucking...damn, we're easy, aren't we? But with people as pretty as Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum, are we really expected to be able to resist? It's a pretty cheap marketing ploy, but it works. >.<
