silversolitaireThe son of one of my mother's friends came over with his laptop. It stopped working for some strange and unknown reason. My bro is looking at it now and they're running Norton over it. My bro then tried to tell him that it's no use waiting for the next hour now, staring at the screen and he could tell him it's done. Obviously, this was a hint for the guy to beat it. But he just shrugged and said "I've got nothing else to do anyway, and stayed put." >_<
It's my mom's birthday, we want to have a nice meal now and spend some family time, give her her presents and all. We don't want the guy to sit around and stare at his laptop. *growls* Doesn't he have any decency at all? I hope my dad manages to get rid of him... *grumbles*
Got an appointment with the knee doc later. I can tell already that it's going to be frustrating. I'll wait there for an hour, then wait for another half an hour in the hallway, only to get told that the scans of my knee are the wrong ones and I need to get another kernspin. >_< Oh well... I'll take my book with me and work a bit on the paper. Yes siree.
I already started a bit. Yayness! Another 25 pager... good god. At least this one is less research. *nods* And since I can talk about 4 short stories (possibly 5) it should be easy to fill those pages. Goody.
*yawns widely* Me is tired... woke up at 10 when my granny was being noisy. Only 6 hours of sleep or so... T_T meow... Oh well, more papering...
