I'm tired... so so tired... hardly slept last night. Around 11, I noticed that my cat was behaving strangely and I was immediately alarmed when I tried to pick him up and he whined and wouldn't let me. Would you believe how difficult it is to find an emergency help for cats? I phoned every goddamn vet I knew for about half an hour until I found one frigging vet who was on standby. I had all sorts of freaky thoughts, thinking he could be lethally ill, at the brink of death. That lady vet managed to appease us, saying that nothing with the symptoms he had could be a life-threatening condition.

Needless to say, I still didn't sleep too well. I got up very early because I had been worrying all night and just couldn't sleep anymore. The cat was still not doing so well. We invaded the local vet despite not having an appointment. The cat was still moaning and whining. The lady vet then took an xray and found out that his entire digestive system was clogged. He then got an enema and some shots against the pain. Thankfully, this immediately improved his condition. After that, he moved around more and he didn't look that unhappy anymore either. My poor baby...

Now I just don't know what caused this. Maybe it was a half-digested mouse, some hair balls, anything. Or it could be an inflamed bladder. *sighs* I just hope it doesn't return...

Now that was stress I did NOTneed. I missed work because of that.... gah. >_
