My parents are at my flat. Fixing the shower and all. I'm extremely grateful for that, but it really pisses me off how they're nagging about how I keep up with the place yadda-yadda... *sighs* They just don't see how difficult it is to keep such a big place all neat and clean when you're all alone... I mean, I like it nice, too, but I just don't know where to start. No matter where I look there's just more work and it's so depressing... Ah well.... I cleaned up a bit now while they were working in the garden.

I noticed that I never do anything "artistic" here. I never draw or write. I think it must be the position of the couch or something. It must be impeding my creativity. I mentioned to idea to my dad and he said that it's absolutely possible, with Feng Shui and all that. Since I've got my back turned to a door and I'm sitting right in the middle of the flow of negative energy between a window and a door... o.o Thing is, I wouldn't know how to change it. I can hardly move that green couch thingy. It looks ugly from behind, it needs to face a wall. *sighs*

very curious..

Well, according to Feng Shui there just are a couple of things that you shouldn't do. Like, as I mentioned, turning your back to a door or window when you're trying to get comfy. You should try to lie in the same direction the earth it turning. You shouldn't sit / sleep / work in the direct connection between window and door, since evil energy (spirits) come through there. You should not place a mirror right at the opposite wall of your main entrance, since this will reflect the good energy when it tries to get into your home. Or don't mix wood and metal, or yellow and black. There are so many rules, I don't know them all right off the top of my head... just get a book on Feng Shui, if you're interested!

There are different ways of decorating a room, depending on whether you want to work effectively, or creatively. Whether you want to have kids, be successful, cure your sickness... o.o Some stuff gets really weird, like I remember a Japanese once telling me that you should by any number of lottery-ticket that contains a six one day before a special day, wear red at that day and put the tickets on top of your wardrobe in order to win the next day! ^_^; Or take a bath in a hot spring facing the West and wear pink make-up in order to marry wealthily! hahaha

Well, think of that what you want, but I think the stuff with the energy flow definitely makes sense. Of course one should never forget the problem of leilines (sp?) either... I know I react to them... *sighs*
