Okay, when did LJ stop showing special characters? This really sucks! I mean, I can live with this now, but what about people who have journals in German or French or any other non-English language? Besides, how is one supposed to do cute emoticons? I can't even do the eyebrow-lifter or the concerned frown anymore! This is VERY sucky!!!

-i know how you feel. I posted something about it *coughs* about a week ago. It's very annoying and arrogant to presume that LJ is only used by native English speakers who never have to use "special" characters. I wish I knew what was wrong with the old code.
