silversolitaireFleur and I stayed awake until 7 AM to see all of the Oscars. I was still awake at 1 PM though.... x_x I just can't seem to sleep longer than that. Ah well... I will live. hehehe
It was a lot of fun! *huggles Fleur who is still asleep XD* As for the Oscars, I think they were okay. I was really disappointed that Ian McKellan didn't get the award, but yeah, realistically none of the LotR's acting was that outstanding. Very good, yes, but not Oscar material. I just wanted an openly gay man to win. That's all. It's the activist in me. Not winning Best Song was kinda wrong. I mean, that stupid Monsters Inc. song sounded like all the other songs that Randy Newman guy did. But okay... I guess they thought after 16 nominations he'd finally earned his Oscar. Okay, okay... I'm okay with the rest. I knew Beautiful Mind was going to take the most awards. Oh, and I'm pleased that For the Birds won! ^_^ Too bad Harry Potter didn't get even one award, but I wasn't really expecting it. Just one award to save the honor would have been nice. Oh well. Moulin Rouge's Oscars were okay. I'd say Rings won in all the realistic categories, except for Best Song.
*stretches* Okay, having some more brownies now. Yummy... Going to see a movie tonight. We'll see Ice Age.
