RUMOR: (December 19, 2001) A reader, who was used recently as an extra for a scene in Diagon Alley in the second Harry Potter movie (look out for a 14-year-old with curly straw blonde hair, freckles and wearing dark green robes), sent us the following information: "As well as seeing the normal trio and Kenneth Branaugh at Lockhart, guess who was playing Lucius Malfoy? Ralph Fiennes! His hair was dyed blonde, or he was wearing a wig, and he played the role very, very well. Personally, I was glad he played the role as he's one of my favourite actors. I couldn't get an autograph as all I was meant to do was be in the crowd of Lockhart's fans and squeal whenever he spoke, but I was allowed to watch and it was very interesting."

Hmmm... I don't know... Part of me screams "YEEEEES" thinking about the possibilities. Especially... Snape / Lucius... Rickman / Fiennes... ooooooh... Then again, does it make sense? Isn't Lucius supposed to be older? And Snape already looks much too old for his own good! Hmmm... BUT, looking at the others on the rumor page.... Richard E. Grant! Now THAT would be yummy. And almost perfect. But knowing my luck it's gonna be some ugly, unhot guy. Like... Bill Nighy?? Whoever he is, he isn't hot, so that's gonna be it. I betcha a tenner...
