Hanson Mmbop video... it's bad man. What's the deal with the yellow pansy in the back. Some joke I don't get? ô_o Well at least it's got some kind of irony about it. Like the Einstein bit and them doing this... Saturday Night kinda thingy... hmm, yeah.

As to the flower in the background, the lyrics read,

it got them a name, but at what price? the song doesnt even display their musical or songwriting talent, and it doesnte even display their style.

mmmbop is one of the songs that polygram... played with. they called a studio person in, and the studio person helped them change the song so it would sound more popish, and better on the radio. [ie: like was done for "smells like teen spirit" for nirvana.] ...if you listen to the live from albertane album, mmmbop is performed live and it is much more of a rock-ish song than it is on their first album.

*sigh* i haaaateeeeee record execs! they fuck up my bands >< but im blad hanson is on island now, which is def jam [rather than mercury, which is polygram.] they get more freedeom, and it's just nicer.

Hmm, I see your point. Mmmbop is the only song by Hanson that I actually know anyway. So, I guess you're right. When I think of Hanson I think of this song and I think it (and so they) suck (hm, we're having a little congruence problem here... nevermind! LOL). Anyway, one day I guess I should download a couple of songs by them just to give them a chance...
