How?
Well...
I was going shopping with my dad today. It was like it used to be. We were talking and having fun. But his cellphone kept ringing and every time I left the car, he had it in his hands and was typing messages, like when I got tickets for Harry Potter. Then, when we finally drew up on the parking lot, he said he needed to call "her", which was of course his girlfriend. Not after I said "Well, that's obvious!" when he said he didn't know what was going on. Okay, so he stayed behind on the parking lot to talk with her on the phone while I brought in the shopping.
Now comes the part where I screwed up. I came in and my mom asked where dad is. What was I supposed to say? So I said he needed to look for something in the car. We sat down to eat and she was talking about how he had these problems with the car and so on. After a while she said "This is taking so long! I bet he's on the phone with her again!". Then she looked outside and saw him talk. She sat down and said, all sad, "I told him I don't mind him calling her up as long as he is honest and doesn't lie about it." I felt so bad, since I was the one who had told the lie. My dad did say he was going to call her. I just didn't want my mom to be sad. So, I told her that he had actually said it and I had lied to her.
I bet now she thinks she can't trust me neither anymore... T_T
I should have stayed out of this.
