Dec. 9th, 2000 05:01 pmOkay, I am pissed.
I wanted to make this entry a lot earlier, but thank God I was always distracted. So maybe now I can find a bit more distance.
I really don't like the direction my former favorite mailing list is heading. Why do they have to attack each other all the time. I really wish I knew.
And I really don't like it when the list moderator adopts this dictator stance. This is the second time I actually noticed that in a very short time. I hardly ever notice when the list policy is changed suddenly! Apparently after the list's consent and proper discussion. MY ASS! A poll is started when people are still shocked and appaled about recent events and then they cast their votes in a fit of panic! That's not how democracy works! I want to work things out! ARGH!!
I don't like it when my friends on list are leaving! I don't want to feel bad!
And I DON'T want to feel like I have to apologize for liking a certain pairing. This is something that just adds to my frustration. When someone is leaving because of the low level of tolerance lately but then doesn't show enough tolerance herself to accept that others still like what she may be despising by now.
Nat, should you be reading this, I'm sorry. I'm not mad at you. I'm just momentarily feeling angry about having to feel bad about my favorite pairing... I don't like that feeling.
Why can't people just accept other people. The way they are, without forcing their ideas and opinions onto them...
Ack, I'm still too upset. 'sides, I'm getting a cold and my ears are STILL stuck! It's driving me crazy. And I had so little sleep last night because of that stupid Long Anime Night. I got to bed at 4:30. I'm SO tired... but the animes were great...
Well, more about that later.
Now coffee and calming down.
