Guess what... yes! Odd dream again!
Jun. 22nd, 2004 07:30 amLast night I dreamt that I was in a huge library. Or rather, it started out with us driving up to some place. I think it was my granny's place. There was my dad in the car and someone else I didn't see. We drove up to a parking lot, parking right behind that skyscraper they demolished in March (it was still there). Randomly, dad was handing me knife and I took it, grabbing the blade, but then he pulled it back, cutting deeply into my hand...
Then there was a change of scene and I was in this gigantic library. It was kinda odd... the sky was dark-blue, almost night, and there were endless rows of bookcases, as high as a building, lining up across barren hills. You couldn't see where the shelves ended for the base was flooded with water. I was standing on one bookcase and there were other people. I was the guardian of knowledge and me and my helpers had to carry the books over the the city at the horizon. We all could fly. One by one we took off, carrying as many books as we could. I was surveying everything.
At some point I fell off one bookcase and landed in the water. I was really scared because I hate swimming in waters that are very deep and where there are things in them. Scares me to death. I shot out of the water and flew to the city in a frenzy, because somehow I knew there was a problem. I landed in some sort of reception area that seemed to be the natural entrance of this library. It was as if the endless sky-room had slowly merged int this reception area which looked like Blockbusters.
I walked around the front desk and looked at a stack of books. My brother was standing there, looking through them too. Suddenly there was this annoying beep and it just wouldn't stop. I looked at bro angrily, thinking it was his cell but he didn't even react. I walked through a gate into an area where they sold alcoholic beverages, soda and more books. The beeping was still there, still loud. I was wondering if it was some sort of alarm.
There was a book on display, nice and blue. It was the illustrated life story of Uderzo, creator of Asterix. He had drawn himself behind a royal blue sky with silver stars sparkling in the background and they drew a sparkly arc which obviously came out of his quill. He was a young boy with a blonde pigtail. It surprised me that he was so young. I thought he'd have to be ancient by now! The beeping really started to annoy me!
And then I woke up and realized that the beeping was my alarm clock! LOL
