Okay, I realize I need to learn to take criticism from people who are paying me to do art for them. Okay, yes. BUT!!! Why on earth do I send someone a sample of the completed sketch, ask if it's okay, get an okay for it, then write down the colors this person requests and do exactly as told only to then get as reply to the finished artwork that ALL of the colors need to be changed and about 60% of the sketch isn't what she actually wanted. What the fucking fuck??? The basket had a that brim on the sketch already! And the head had the same fucking shape and the lines already were nice and clean (which took me half an hour to clean out!!!!).

*fumes more* This pisses me off to no end. I could very well live with it if I hadn't asked at all and just went ahead and done it only to then be told that this wasn't what the customer wanted. Fine. That'd be understandable. But NO! Instead I ask between every fucking step to avoid exactly this kind of problem and end up having more complaints than ever before! *screams in frustration* And in addition to that I'm being told that I'm too expensive. THE FUCK??? I'm already taking a lot less than what'd make me even remotely feel like my work is paying off and I'm taking longer than I estimated. I'm PRETTY sure that nobody with my quality of work works for that little and yet I get told I'm too expensive? Okay, I'm sure there are people who work for half, but then their completed works don't have printable RGB colors, clean lineart and perfect image quality!

I realize I may sound supercilious here, but I really do believe that I do a good job and that I deserve recognition for it if you want me to do your shit. You're very welcome do go someplace else and get a crappier artwork for less if you don't agree with my pricing. And that's exactly why I told her beforehand what I take, she agreed on it. And THEN, when I asked for the payment, she couldn't remember we had agreed on that. She paid me anyway but now that she has paid SOOOO MUCH she wants it to be perfect. It IS perfect already, fucktard! Is it my fault when you change your mind right after giving me the okay for the sketch and instructions for the color???

*growls*

Okay, need to calm down. Note to self, always make customer okay everything that has been okayed on.

Fucking morons...

Byron: Child of Passion, Fool of Fame by Benita Eisler
A different kind of biography of my favorite poet Lord Byron.

I, Lucifer by Glen Duncan
A brilliantly written portrait of Lucifer encountering the world of the senses, telling his version of the Bible, and discovering what it's like to be human.

Can't wait! ^.^
