I created my own nation! Look!

I got that niftly description by answering questions about my politcal POV. Very interesting...

I'm a Scandinavian Liberal Paradise? O.o;;;

Heh... I already passed my first law regarding the representation of minorities on TV soaps! *g*

I need to make my own banner... yes...

Taken from this book:

Some of the best two-headed headlines are those in which an inadvertent pun lifts the message from the blandly literal to the sublimely absurd:
DEAF MUTE GETS NEW HEARING IN KILLING

DEFENDANT'S SPEECH ENDS IN LONG SENTENCE

DOCTOR TESTIFIES IN HORSE SUIT

POLICE BEGIN CAMPAIGN TO RUNDOWN JAYWALKERS

POLICE DISCOVER CRACK IN AUSTRALIA

TUNA BITING OFF WASHINGTON COAST

STIFF OPPOSITION EXPECTED TO CASKETLESS FUNERAL PLAN

U.S. AUDIT FINDS FUNDS FOR YOUTH MISSPENT

MAN HELD OVER GIANT L.A. BRUSH FIRE

TRAFFIC DEAD RISE SLOWLY

U'S FOOD SERVICE
FEEDS THOUSANDS,
GROSSES MILLIONS

MILK DRINKERS ARE TURNING TO POWDER

S. FLORIDA ILLEGAL ALIENS CUT IN HALF BY NEW LAW

CARRIBEAN ISLANDS DRIFT TO LEFT

HERSHEY BARS PROTEST
When a newspaper goes out wearing the wrong banner, its messages can become unwittingly suggestive:
QUEEN MARY HAVING BOTTOM SCRAPED

IS THERE A RING OF DEBRIS AROUND URANUS?

PROSTITUTE APPEAL TO POPE

PANDA MATING FAILS; VETERINARIAN TAKES OVER

NUNS DROP SUIT; BISHOPS AGREE TO AID THEM
Sometimes the galley gaffe issues from a confusion in grammar:
BRITISH LEFT WAFFLES ON FALKLAND ISLANDS

EYE DROPS OFF SHELF

REAGAN WINS ON BUDGET, BUT MORE LIES AHEAD

LAWYERS GIVE POOR FREE LEGAL ADVISE

ENRAGED COW INJURES FARMER WITH AX

LAWMEN FROM MEXICO BARBECUE GUESTS

MINERS REFUSE TO WORK AFTER DEATH

JUVENILE COURT TO TRY SHOOTING DEFENDANT

FUND SET UP FOR BEATING VICTIM'S KIN

FINE YOUNG MAN CONVICTED OF MISDEMEANOR

TWO SOVIET SHIPS COLLIDE, ONE DIES

2 SISTERS REUNITED AFTER 10 YEARS IN CHECKOUT COUNTER
Occasionally, a deformed headline takes on a meaning that is exactly the opposite of the one intended:
AUTOS KILLING 110 A DAY; LET'S RESOLVE TO DO BETTER
And sometimes the headline illuminates the painfully obvious:
WAR DIMS HOPE FOR PEACE

IF STRIKE ISN'T SETTLED QUICKLY, IT MAY LAST A WHILE

SMOKERS ARE PRODUCTIVE, BUT DEATH CUTS EFFICIENCY

COLD WAVE LINKED TO TEMPERATURES

HALF OF U.S. HIGH SCHOOLS REQUIRE SOME STUDY FOR GRADUATION

CHILD'S DEATH RUINS COUPLE'S HOLIDAY

BLIND WOMAN GETS NEW KIDNEY FROM DAD SHE HASN'T SEEN IN YEARS

MAN IS FATALLY SLAIN

ENDFIELD COUPLE SLAIN: POLICE SUSPECT HOMICIDE

DEATH CAUSES LONELINESS, FEELINGS OF ISOLATION

Leather On My Shoes
Chris De Burgh
I've got leather on my shoes
And I've got a dream to live
There is nothing left to lose
So I'm going
I've got a suitcase here in my hand
And I've got a hungry heart
And I'm going to join the millions
There before me, on the freedom road

No one's coming to my door
And all my friends have gone
There's no work here anymore
It's deserted
And though I know I hate to leave
From this land that I love
There's a new tomorrow waiting
Yes it's shining on the freedom road
On the freedom road

Oh sometimes it's going to be lonely
Sometimes it will be sad
But I've got to keep on going
Until I hold that promised land
In the palm of my hand

Nothing ventured, nothing gained or won
Without a hard fight
We would never reach the sun
Without trying
And when we're a million miles from home
Out in the starry night
We will see we're not alone
In the heavens, out on freedom road
Out on freedom road

Out on freedom road... out on freedom road
This song used to be my themesong when I graduated...

My foot still isn't okay. We still don't know what it is since I had to go to classes and have no time to do an x-ray. My dad made a couple of tests with me and can pretty safely say that the ankle isn't broken. We're not sure about the instep though. I'll need a tomography on Thursday or so (again -.-;;;;;). The ligaments are severely strained, if not torn off completely. I'm wearing my ankle taped now and I'll get an aircast tomorrow. I'm walking on a crutch and it's extremely difficult to drive, especially in a car that's not mine. As for my car, I took it to a workshop which can do the needed repairs for 1000 € less than an authorized retailer -.-;. It'll still cost me 500 €ish... *sighs*

Barely slept all night because of the pain... x_x Gonna go to bed soon.
