Five things that 2002 taught me:
  • I can be healed.

  • Things aren't as bad as they seem.

  • I must try to be less bitter.

  • There's always a way.

  • It's not always my fault.
Five personally significant events of 2002:
in chronological order
  • finding Tom

  • breaking up with Li

  • X's death

  • meeting Tom IRL

  • winning NaNoWriMo
Ten things I want to do in 2003:
In no particular order:
  • Make my novel perfect and readable

  • Spend more time with Tom

  • Heal more

  • Lose weight

  • Work out more

  • Plan some of my future

  • Try to further my web design business

  • Be happy

  • Watch RotK and HP #3 (if possible) ^_^;; oh and read HP #5 of course

  • Earn more money. Just because.
Five things I don't want to do in 2003:
  • Gain weight

  • Cut

  • Take blame that's not mine

  • Be bitter.

  • Start fights with my family.
Eh, this is somewhat redundant... but hey, it's fun to fill out. Sue me.

Last night we played a kick ass game: "Once Upon a Time"! You get cards which have elements of a fairy tale on it. Seven cards. You have to tell a story which contains these elements and certain rules apply (no more than 2 cards in one sentence, the cards need to be a significant plot point, the story has to make remotely sense etc.). The person with the longest beard starts (LOL) and as soon as he can't go on (like, stutters, stops making sense, goes blank), he has to take a card and it's the next person's turn.

You can interrupt the storyteller and steal his turn if he uses a word that you have the card of. Then you can take over the story. Or you have extra interruption cards where you can just interrupt when someone uses a thing, event, characteristic etc.

It's really a fun game. That way you create a lot of silly stories. The person who uses up all his cards first wins. However, there's another thing to consider: the "Happy End" card. You have to take one and it's really tough to fit those in. Usually they don't make much sense with the way the story was flowing already and you must finish off with it anyhow. Like my mom had "And the orc returned to his cave and everybody was happy." How can you fit that in? LOL

I created a beautiful story about a river who wanted to see the sea. It was my dad's fault! XD He started with the river and then nobody knew how to continue with that, with the river being the main character! But I had it all figured out. Had to take a detour though because someone brought in an evil wizard... *g* I lost my turn once and someone played an evil wizard in his castle. But that was okay. I could fit him in easily! I'm a professional! *giggles*

Well, as you can see, this game was mighty fun!

Right now I'm really tired... didn't sleep too much. There was a bunch of Turks downstairs who made a hell of a lot of noise last night. Music... very loud... Made my granny walk downstairs to complain. In here underwear. It was very embarrassing, but I had to come along to make sure she doesn't get into troubles. But that's fine. Apparently I was snoring last night ^_^;;;;...

Tomorrow we're going to Holland! Yay! That's the good thing about being so close to the border. And now I know at least that "groente" has nothing to do with duck! ^_^;;; *giggles*

Hmmmm... having very nice thoughts right now... *snuggles Tom*
