This morning...
Nov. 1st, 2001 11:36 amI got up and was in the dog house already. Or cat house, rather. You see, my cat Sherlock has the annoying habit of kicking my mom out of bed at 6 AM to have her escort him to the (full) food bowl, watch him eat and then let him out (never mind the open door in my mom's bedroom to begin with!). Now with the daylight saving time, make that 7 AM, but still! It sucks! So, knowing that my cat's going to pull that shit on me since my mom isn't there, I already locked my door last night when I went to bed and put a pair of earplugs on my nightstand.
And lo and behold, at 7 sharp I hear Sher whine and meow in front of my door! So, I put in the earplugs and turn around. I know, I'm mean. If it's any consolation to anyone, I slept like hell anyway. Then, when I finally got up at about 11 AM, I found Sherlock lying at my doorstep, grunting, really miffed, and not even looking at me. Man, he was SO pissed! Probably to make me open the door, he had thrown down all the dolls from the shelf and my wooden mannequin was completely distorted. But I ignored that.
I then went downstairs with him and fed him. This time, the bowl was empty. When I came down again after getting dressed, he just stood in front of the door, still not looking at me when I let him out.
LOL! I guess that was a valuable lesson for him. I kept telling my mom not to let him pass with everything! A bit of "catucation" was in need! ^_^
