Ah, I wish could come up with a proper rhyme for my translation of a Goethe poem. I've been working on this one for such a long time already! Sheesh! But my mind is blank... I do love this one poem a lot. "Welcome and Farewell", that's how I translated it. Very beautiful. I like the version that was truer to the feeling of Sturm und Drang best. When Goethe became a classicist, he became lame, IMO.

Tomorrow I can sleep in late. What bliss... I really hate this about university life, having to get up early so often... Tomorrow I will spend a nice and quiet day. Do some bank work, cook a nice meal, then wait for my lovely friend Alex-kun to call me up so I can pick her up from the station and then we'll spend a nice and quiet afternoon together. That's something to look forward to...

Now I'm feeling lonely again...

Alex-kun just left. And I'm so lonesome. Part of me wants to be alone. So badly, that I don't want anybody near me. But the other part hates this feeling...
