I live again!
Oct. 23rd, 2000 07:10 pmAh... life is good to me again. My computer is up and working again, and even better than before! I managed to fix all my problems with this darned thing as well. Ironically, many things now work faster, better and more efficient than they had before although this new system was but 2 months old as well! Someone teach me how to understand computers...
I'm just glad I could fix the problem I had with Livejournal. After recovering my files from a burned CD, they all were copy protected, naturally! Stupid me! Of course many things wouldn't work then. Hell... what a fuzz! Now I had to weed through all of my newborn hard drive and deprotect all files! ARGH! What a fucking nuisance! Please, tell me to watch out next time and put my laptop down on a save place. I can give it to you first hand: drop it and your hard drive is DEAD! Yes Ma'am.
But I'm still very happy now. The new album of Die Ärzte is out! Great! The cover is hillarious! It's... no cover at all! It's not even a jewel case, just a blue fuzzy plush envelope. Silly! But typically Die Ärzte. I really love them! Can't wait to listen to all of it. It's called "Runter mit den Spendierhosen, Unsichtbarer!" Humm... no idea how to translate that! LOL. I should though... I really need to offer the translations on my other homepage real soon.
Being offline for three days had another good side effect. I finally sat down to sketch out the events and characters of my book. It was about time. I'm happy...
