Four tickets to Paris!

Just got four tickets for a nice weekend trip when my girlfriend and her sisters come to visit me this summer! Weeeeeeh! It will be right over my birthday, but I don't care. My birthdays usually suck anyway, so why not spend it in Paris. Maybe it won't suck then! T_T

Have you been to Paris before? (If you have, ignore my ramblings) It's utterly beautiful. I was there around this time in 1999, and I still remember it like it was yesterday (even if my French isn't that good anymore). Do you know specifically what you're going to see? I went and saw most of the typical touristy type places when I went, but it was still the most amazing experience of my life. Especially getting hit on by cute drunk French boys at night. ;)

Yes, I've actually been to Paris a couple of times already. Must be my 6th or 7th time now. That's why it's going to be so difficult. I've spent there weeks and weeks, I have my favorite places and done all the touristy schedule, but my girlfriend's never been there. I might make her miss stuff because I think it's not too hot, but only because I've seen it so often. We probably won't make the Eiffel tower though. We've only got a weekend and you line up for 2 hours there already! T_T I think we're gonna hang out at the Trocadero at night when the guys play the drums and I'll show her my favorite view on the Montmatre... ah... *_* I'm looking forward to this!

Ooh, Montmarte. I loved that place. Maybe it's the artsy geek in me, but I didn't really want to leave there. I can't believe I somehow missed the whole Moulin Rouge thing when I was there; that's something I should have been drawn to. Well, regardless of how many times you've been there, I'm sure you'll have a splendid time.

You'd be disappointed. Moulin Rouge is nothing like it used to be in the old days. Those days are long gone. Now it's rather depressing... *sighs*

Yeah. After I found out the Moulin was in Montmarte, I dragged out my Travel Guides and such to France, and looked it up. Indeed, nothing like it was before, but I'm neurotic and/or anal and would have loved to have a pic of it. :)
