I was just in the process of attempting to convince

krss to watch Casino Royale by dispersing her fears about the torture scene and baiting her with the slashiness of it. I described the scene to her and then I did some screenies to drive my point home. Since I kinda enjoyed doing that I'm going to repost it here in my LJ to keep! (hope you don't mind, Krss)

Bond is being dragged into the dungeon by Le Chiffre's thugs, stripped naked (yum) and tied to the chair after they took out the seat. Le Chiffre walks around him while holding the rope and looks at his naked form appreciatively. He purrs, "Wow, you've taken good care of your body". Then he leans in and runs the rope slowly across Bond's chest from behind and whispers into his ear, "Such a waste."

He hits Bond once by swinging the knotted end of the rope under the chair and slapping it against Bond's balls. Bond endures it with gritted teeth. Le Chiffre takes off his tie and rambles on about the art of torture. Then he hits Bond once more, this time harder. Bond screams a lot, then calms down to grim resolve.

Le Chiffre continues to drive into Bond (figuratively) about revealing the information he wants, even says please. Bond complains about an itch he has "down there" and asks "Do you mind?". Le Chiffre hits him again, Bond tells him "more to the right", then screams "Yes, yes!" before falling into an insane laugh. Le Chiffre backs off, confused. Bond explains, "Now the whole world's gonna know that you died scratching my balls."

Le Chiffre is taken aback. "I died?" Then he gets angry at Bond's refusal who says they both know he'll die not revealing the information and then Le Chiffre will get hunted down by those who are after him and cut to pieces. Le Chiffre kicks over Bond's chair to cut off "what [Bond] doesn't seem to appreciate", which he doesn't get a chance to of course.

That's all there is to the torture scene. ^^ Of course it helps that both Bond and Le Chiffre are very hot! *rawr*
