But yes, I'm amazed at the speed with which these things travel, too. I just worked on a paper about "Internet and Rumor" and this is just a perfect example. Speed of a bullet, I say! Hehehe...

You should check out the website, rkrowling.com. Click the rubber and then click around wildly (I can spoil LOL) until you manage to get the key and open the door. I find out rather exciting to finally be able to open that damned door! *g*

The plant has nothing to do with this. Get the tree, as you did. Then click the center of the big door. A wreath appears. Then click the top of the mirror. Lights should appear. Then click the cobweb which should disappear. Then click the second chime to the right and pull it down. You get a key. Open the door. Voila!

Anyhow, we've been wildly speculating about it. Our current crazy theories:

1. The Deathly Hallows have something to do with Godric's Hollow (because Harry is supposed to go there in book seven)

2. The Deathly Hallows are some new ghosts that Harry will meet.

3. The Deathly Hallows is the place beyond the veil.

4. The Deathly Hallows are the people beyond the veil.

5. The Deathly Hallows are the founders

6. The Deathly Hallows are the Horcruxes

7. The Deathly Hallows are the dementors
