The hw_fest is now open for business and true to my usual habit I scrape past the deadline and miss it by a hair's breadth. Meaning, the story is finished, but still unbetaed. Oh, and it's lousy, long and boring. Oh well. No time to revise now, I guess. Gotta sleep on it some and then start looking for a beta... *sighs* And then erm... write the other two stories I need until Dec. 31st o_______o. *panics a bit*

Oh well, I guess the plot isn't supposed to make sense. I just sit and enjoy the yumminess that is Annie in her pretty costume. Randomly, it took me years to realize that the poncey guy she's with is Hugh Laurie XD;.

now that i think of it.. that happy ending shouldn't have been. would have been much cooler that way. despite the tune, it's not an awfully optimistic song, anyway..

Heeeey now! That's not the missing link directly. It's more like a fateful link! I've loved that song (and video) for years. But of course I never paid any attention to that dork. Then when day a couple of weeks ago I was searching YouTube for old videos I used to like a lot and boom, there he was. So in a way there is a link, but it's not there because of House. It's just how fate works I guess! XD

And yes, I agree. The song isn't very happy. It does sound all upbeat and happy-bouncey, but it's not really. Oh well. Maybe she was pressured by the label or something.

On an unrelated note, did you watch Casino Royale?

i don't expect to see Casino Royale until HBO airs it. and i'll probably watch it just to see how the poor new guy managed. :) should i see it?
i'm more a fan of the 007 theme songs than the movies themselves. and the latest ones (Madonna and this one) suck! :/

I'd recommend it! I wasn't really planning on seeing it. I was kinda disagreeing with their choice of Bond and I was going to boycott it. But I just can't stay away from Bond ;_;. So I went anyway and I ended up really liking it. When I left the theater I was a bit torn but as it's settling down now I'm feeling this strong urge to see it again LOL. So that's a good sign.

This Bond is a totally new one. Kinda like... what if Quentin Tarantino had directed Casino Royale. Lots of very brutal, very bloody fight scenes. Not gory-brutal, but realistically brutal, absurdly so that they make you laugh. Bond is pure muscle and brawn there which is such a different thing. Basically everything that used to be Bond isn't there anymore. It's quite apparently they tried to overhaul the entire franchise... and it's actually pretty good! So I recommend it! ^^

Even then opening song is different LOL. Bro and I were saying that with the dawn of computer technology they kinda lost their charm. This time around however it wasn't that greatly publicized at all. When it came up I kept wondering "Who's that singer...?" Not some huge star with a song that gets beaten to death in the charts. It actually sounds a lot more "Bond-y" than the other ones before! Have you heard it yet?

Anyway, I'd check it out if I were you! ^^

I've got one half-written, one needs rewrting, one is friggin' sci-fi story (what was I thinking?!) and one I haven't got a damn clue what to do, again, what was I thinking
