Funny! It actually took me... I don't know how many years to realize that midnight is NOT 12 PM! Oh my God! o_O I must have confused gazillions of people! It just appeared logical to me. You know... the day starts with one and ends with 12. Ergo, 1 AM goes up to 12 AM, which is noon and then starts with 1 PM and goes up to 12 PM, which is midnight. Seemed all perfectly logical to me. And now I started pondering over this journal, thinking if it had some kind of bug with that weird 12 AM in between in the wee of the night. Until my bro kindly informed me that 12 PM actually was noon and not midnight. Hell! I almost died stupid! LOL
Okay, now I know... 12 PM = noon. All set! ^_^
But still... where's the logic? PM means Past Midday, no? So, techically, 12 o'clock isn't past midday yet, but exactly on it. So, one minute after 12 o'clock (1201 Nato time) would be past midday. Ergo, 12 PM being on midnight seems to be more logical, being WELL past midday! LOL
And AM means Ante Meridiem, if I'm informed correctly. Okay, that means literally before noon, but many think it's after midnight. Now that would make it really confusing. Because 12 o'clock at night (2400 Nato time) isn't after midnight, but exactly midnight. But that's wrong anyway, so screw that. So, let's see... before noon.... to me that would include noon, actually...
ARGH! I'm just getting confused. Thank God I usually use Nato time anyway!
