No idea, but if you go to the "recently added" playlist, the last one should be the song it just converted. Right-click and click on "show song file". :)

Aaaaah yes yes. Thanks! Say, is there a way to tell that bloody thing "This is where my music files are?" Somehow I can't find anywhere to specify that ever since it crashed on me when I first tried to export a library. Now I just kinda dragged and dropped it in there but it never registers the new files and that's annoying.

I honestly have no clue how to set the preferences so that the library folder updates itself when there are new songs. :/

If you ever find out, could you let me know, please?

not sure for ACC but I know when I convert to mp3 it gets added into the itunes library folder, where they normally copy songs to if you make playlists and don't turn off the 'make extra copy of song for itunes library' function. And usually it goes under the artist name, unless it has none. then just start seaching the oddball folders like 'unknown artist' and such.

LOL yeah. ok not sure if you are using a mac or a PC, but I do know that for sure mac's also convert to mp3 cause my friend saralee has a mac and is the one that let me know about this. If you have just a normal PC it also converts to wav format as well as AIFF, ACC, and Apple lossless.

to change it what I did was go into preferences (for me its under Edit) and click on the 'importing' tab. for the import using (which should be the first thing) there is a dropdown box that let's you choose what you'd like your importing music files to be when put into itunes. so for me if it is anything other than an mp3 it automatically converts it.

now if you just want to convert single songs into mp3s without making EVERY file you put in there one, or so you don't have to keep switching it back and forth, just right-click on the song (or for mac... uhm don't know what it is. it's like apple shift or something. i haven't had to use a mac in almost 2 years now). on the list that pops up there is a 'convert to mp3' selection, which will also do it.

and even if you have it set so that the songs are not saved in the library, if it has to convert they will still be there whereas whatever file your itunes is set to, if you import those, they don't get added to the library.

I hope this made sense LOL.
