You guys all know Michael Myers, right? No, not the comedian but the character from the Halloween slasher movies. Here's a little reminder of what he looks like:



Now I've just happened upon this very amusing piece of trivia:

Due to its shoestring budget, the prop department had to use the cheapest mask that they could find in the costume store: a William Shatner mask, from The Devil's Rain (1975). They later spray-painted the face white, teased out the hair, and reshaped the eyeholes.

Now when you look at him again, bearing this tidbit of info in mind...



...it DOES look like Shatner, doesn't it? XD;;;

Ah, this amusing this little mind of mine... *g*
