Set-up of the problem:
Cause: Not accepting the random attack by the resident feline without resistance, but instead grabbing the nearest weapon (in this case a pillow in the shape of a dog) and beating on the attacker to prevent further damage after already bleeding profusely out of 5-6 claw marks.
Effect: Mutual ignoring each other for the rest of the day until the human caves in and tries to make friends with the feline again. Attempt to pet feline, curled up into a firm ball of disapproval. Reaction of feline after 10 mins of incessant pettage: "Purr."
Question: Has the feline forgiven the human or not?

"a firm ball of disapproval"
LOL!
