I was sitting on the terrace, working on a presentation when I heard the kindergarten kids next door yell around and go "MEOOOOOOOW MEOOOOOOOOOOW!". So I already knew they were bugging Sher. I went to the fence and sure enough they were standing there, a girl and two boys. A second later, Sher came jumping across the fence.

Girl: We are looking for the cat.
Me: That one?
Girl: This is ours!
Me: I think not. He lives here. See the ladder there? That's his.
Girl: But we want him! We want to pet him!
Me: Well, you can't have him! He's got a mind of his own.
Boy 1: But we want to pet him!
Me: Then wait till he gets back, maybe he lets you then.
Girl: But we want him!!!
Me: You can't have him! He's a living being and not a toy!
Girl: But we want to play with him!!!
Me: -.- Well too bad, he doesn't want to play with you apparently since he ran off.
Boy 1: Laurent threw stones at him!
Me: >_<; Then whack Laurent next time.
Boy 1: He does it all the time!
Me: Well tell the aunts then!
Aunt: *drags away kids*
Girl: Laurent throws stones at the cat!
Aunt: *chews out Boy 2*
