Ooooh... losing one hour isn't nice... x_x Meh...

Right now I'm miffed at my mother. So annoying. We said that I'd give Siegfried his bath today, but by the time I came downstairs she was already carrying him into the kitchen. Then she almost tossed him into the sink! My poor baby was so scared. Then she started splashing water all over him. I yelled at her to watch out, because he mustn't get water into his lungs or he'll get pneumonia. She then says "But I need to wash him!" Well yes, you need to wash him, but you can do it carefully, without half dunking him in! >_<

When she was done she carried him back into the garden, with one hand, mind you. We all know that turtles constantly move their legs and kick. One hand is extremely risky, especially with my mom's tiny mole hands! She always drops things! So, when I complain again she gets all angry and she rubs poor Siegfried roughly with a towel, almost twisting his legs! I yell at her again and try to take him from her, but she doesn't let me! Instead she SHAKES Siegfried at me while she's talking, all the while my poor baby is rowing panicky, trying to get himself into an upright position. And then she even turned him onto his back! >__< And most importantly, in this particular example she didn't let me! I was trying to take him from her several times and she pushed me away! GAH! I'm still mad! I yelled at her "This isn't some thing, this is a small animal! Be fucking careful!!!" And she gets angry with me! Until she drops and kills him! *grumbles*

is he dead now?
Poor Siegfried! Tell her you didn't want to hurt her, you were just so worried about him!

Heh, yes, snakes and geckos and all that, they're really nice, but there are two big problems with them. 1) They are very expensive to keep because you need to provide them with a decent terrarium and all. 2) live food. 'Nuff said. Just the idea of having to feed my snake a mouse makes me not to want one at all.

depends what kind of snake you get. there are a lot of fish eating snakes, and i could handle that. but sadly all the prettiest snakes are the mouse eating ones. and geckos eat cricket and that's just grim. bleurgh. and yes, you have to keep them in really good housing to make sure they don't get cold or anything.
