How DUMB can be you? To be my brother, that is. Here I am, sitting on the computer, looking positively busy, headphones on, listening to loud music so I won't be bothered by the TV show he insists on watching. Or rather the TV he insists on running even though he certainly isn't interested in the show and just wants to noise in the background. Me, I'm annoyed by that. So I put on headphones to have my peace. And what does he do??? He CONSTANTLY talks to me. Like, all the fucking time! He comments on the TV, and not just like "Blablablabl", no, he actually turns around and looks at me, expecting an answer. Every time I practically yank down the headphones and yell "WHAT!" and he just chats at me happily, a comment that makes zero sense to me since I haven't paid attention to the program to begin with. And will he stop? NO! He'll do it again and again and again! Until I get really pissed and tell him I'm not paying attention and I don't want to know and then he acts all hurt and says "Never mind then!" >_<

I found your journal randomly. And I know exactly what you mean. My mom and/or sister will have the tv blaring, and I have to have my headphones on so I can concentrate on what I'm doing on the computer, and then they try to talk to me. I want to scream at them, I won't be listening so don't try to talk to me! Or one day after school I was sleeping in my room with my lights out, and my mom opens my door and asks, "What are you doing?" HELLO! Like it isn't obvious? Oh look at me, lying on my bed in the complete dark, I must be dancing or something. Stupid people.
