silversolitaireI'm feeling a bit better now, so let me sum up yesterday's grand achievements:
I had to work. But it was fun, really. I wasn't all alone but with the other student helpers and that's always nice. I made friends with one of my coworkers that I hardly ever see. That was funny., actually. We were talking about the name we had been given, if we hadn't turned out to be female/male. I confessed that I would have been called Florian and thanked the Lord that I've been spared. I only then registered his scandalized expression and realized that "Flo" probably is short for Florian! LOL
So, Question of the Day: What name would your parents have given you, if you hadn't become a girl (or boy, if present)? Additional question, if you were to get a sex change, would you actually consider this name??
To answer my own question: HELL NO!!!!!! hahaha
On with my narration: I then went to the local manga store and soothed my oriental cravings. I got myself a copy of Seimaden 10, Angel Sanctuary 8, Kizuna 7 and Bronze 11. Woohoo! I also marvelled at the artbooks, but decided that I'm broke.
Back home I started working on Burning Together with full force and actually finished it. Went over it again this morning and then sent it out to the betas. It's about time that it was finished. Man... But I've got an idea for a tiny sequel regarding Snape. I might do that soon. But I also want to work on my original story My Blue Boy. We'll see.
Then, my girlfriend called. Didn't expect that at all. I'm such a sucker when it comes to romantic stuff. That was really nice. And once again I decided that I hate V-Day especially because of the way the Americans handle it. That's simply ridiculous, getting yourself humiliated at school because you didn't get tons of flowers and candy or couldn't afford the really expensive and cool stuff. Majorly stupid.
Oh, and today, what bliss. Another part of Tinn's wonderful Casablanca fanfic got posted and YEAH they finally did it. I'm sooo addicted to this fic! *_* I don't know if I'll ever be able to cope with WIPs again though. It's killing me.
So, that's about it, I guess. More as it comes.
