I confess my ignorance. I'm at Least Expected but I don't know where to begin. Since I don't have any favourite pairings I need recommendations on good authors. Wait, I don't want to read hobbit slash. I have to draw the line somewhere.

LJ keeps kicking me but I persist. I'm looking for Tolkien slash recommendations. I prefer dark, depressing stories. m/m, f/f, any combination is more than welcome. I won't read hobbit slash yet. I'm not quite ready. I swore I'd never read LoTR slash so I have to take it one step at the time.

I swear, my previous request was much more articulate but this day keeps getting worse.
