Back from the appointment with the knee doc. Previous one was in June. I know, I know, I was slacking off a bit, but I kinda had to wait and see if the brace works out. Well, it didn't. So now I got an injection into the joint ;_;. Mew... There was really not much choice. He said that unless we do this we'd just be spinning in circles and never be able to get a full diagnosis. So now I got some sort of aneastheic into my joint and have to see what's happening. I'm supposed to keep a "pain journal". Use my knee normally and see how it works out and when it hurts and when it doesn't. Hopefully that'll do anything...

If I'm lucky then *some*thing will come from this that'll tell the doc that the shots are working. Then he'd give me three shots or so into the joint which would cure my problem. That'd be the best option. If that doesn't work it splits up into two other options, surgery where my ligament kinda gets split (best option of that lot, recovery period 3 weeks) or I need to get a full-blown surgery where the entire sinew is either shortened or moved (worst option, recovery period 6 weeks and up). Or something. I don't know. I'm just hoping the shots will work. With me luck!

Right now my knee feels all wobbly and icky. I'm writing down what's going on. But I'm not really sure what to expect. Dad told me the cortison might also bring some improvement over the next days. We'll see...

Getting something injected into your joint is nasty, though ;_;. I was really scared. I'm scared of needles to begin with and then the entire atmosphere. The examination maybe took 10 mins and then I was sent to the surgery room where I was sitting around with a disinfected knee for 20 mins, getting myself all riled up. Then the doc and nurse arrived and he wrapped himself all up with gloves and mask and all and I was just going crazy ;_;. The injection itself was okay then... it burnt and hurt kinda. But it just wouldn't stop and I felt my knee itching to twitch. I tried hard not to. Then it was finally over and he looked at me strangely and said "You're not going to faint, are you?" -_-; I was 100% in control! I wasn't whining, I wasn't fussing or anything. I just said my knee is going to twitch soon. *miffs* Oh well...

Let's hope for the best...
