For the first time that I can remember Tom Cruise does something that I fully condone and support. That's a new one. Usually he just annoys the fuck out of me with all his Scientology crap, and even though this is motivated by the same reason the thing he fights for is very decent. Psycho drugs are evil.

Heartthrob actor Tom Cruise is launching a campaign to stop kids taking drugs prescribed by their doctors. The diminutive Mission Impossible hunk flew to Washington DC last week to lobby politicians for stricter controls on how medicines are handed out to minors, particularly those with Attention Deficit Disorder. Cruise campaigns, "There are eight million kids on educational medication. Do you know about Ritalin, Adderall and psychotropic drugs? When you break down the chemical compound, it's the same as cocaine. Bet you didn't know that." The Scientology faith, of which the Vanilla Sky star is a firm follower, is against all forms of orthodox medicines, favoring more natural ways to medicate.

I just heard back from the garage... the AC of my car is kaputt. Like, totally kaputt. It needs a new compressor and that'd be 700 €. Considering that I don't even have half as much on my account I think it's pretty obvious that I can forget about that... So it means I'll have to continue driving in this horribly hot car that makes me get a headache and all dizzy because I can't even use normal air as everyone else. Life isn't fair... I need money T_T.
