*happy sigh*
May. 3rd, 2003 08:17 pmI've been sculpturing all day again. My ugly cat got cosmetic surgery and now it's an okay cat. LOL I realize I've been missing this, creating things with my very own hands. I mean, I love painting on the computer. It makes life so much easier and I certainly am drawing and coloring a lot more since I discovered how to do that. Before that, I was always afraid to mess up the picture by adding color to it. So, yay for that. However, I've really been missing doing stuff with my hands. Smelling the paint, the clay, doing things with my hands. So, yeah, it was a great feeling. And I'm happy to see that I'm actually really good at sculpturing. I should do this a lot more. ^.^
On Thursday, my dad read something I've written for the first time ever. I don't like people I know personally read my stuff. It always makes me feel awkward. But he asked for it and I could hardly refuse him. So I let him. And his comment? "My child is writing things I don't understand." ^_^; Oh well...
Hmmm... dinner.
Yes, today was a good day. Now I only wish my picture frame would stop bending itself. I've been putting bricks on it all day and every time I lift them it goes SPROING again. >_< I'll paint it black and white. That'll look great with the photo I'll put in there. Kathleen will love it, I'm sure. That's my way of saying thank you for her great tutoring.
Okay, dinner now. For real. *runs off*
