It's odd, how bored I can get when I can't talk to my Tom. Kinda scary how used I am to have him near all the time... I miss him... T_T

My mind keeps flashing with things I want to tell him and then I realize he's not on and I get all disappointed. *sighs* I hope this won't take too long or else I'll have to start taking notes about the things I want to tell him! ^.^;;; Now that'd be really pathetic...

Meh...

Tried calling Tom last night before bed for over an hour, but the phone rang busy constantly. Very annoying...

I miss my Tom... T_T

We're starting taking down the Christmas tree. I broke a golden Christmas ball -.-;;;.

The Yves Rocher shipment arrived yesterday. Yay! I'm addicted to Yves Rocher *^_^*. I bought some nice stuff for my dry skin. Hopefully, it helps. I also got a sample of some make-up for ivory skin. Cooool. I tried it a bit, but it looks rather silly on my face. The dry skin chips off and makes me look kinda scaley when I apply make-up ^_^;;;. On the bright side, I got a kick-ass silvery knapsack for free! I looks very pretty. Silver-glittery. It changes depending on the angle from which you look at it. It has silver heart-pendants on the zippers and all. Very nice. That's why I like ordering at Rocher. They always give you free stuff along with your order ^_^.

I'm debating whether it's worth it to drive 20 mins. up to that store near my bro's uni that has a sell-out and reduced CDs and DVDs by 20%. Not sure if they have what I want at all and they probably just made everything 20% more expensive to compensate for the "bargain" -.-;. So, I guess I won't go. Need to save my shineys anyway.

I took my recharger back to the store yesterday. Everything went okay, only that they didn't have the kind of recharger that I need in stock. -.-;;; They said it could be here tomorrow, if they order it right away. So yay. Then when I got up I found a fax where they wanted me to pay 89 € for it since my warranty had run out. -.-;;; I called up the guy and told him he's wrong, he decided that it'd be a good idea to check his files and realized I was right. Guh... so he's ordering it today which means I probably won't get it tomorrow either. Bunch of stinking liars. *grumbles* At least my dad managed to persuade the guy in the store to give me a substitute recharger for the meantime, so I'm not too panicky about it.

I also inquired about my CD-drive which refuses to read CD-Rs. They didn't know what the hell was wrong with it. They could look into it, but I'd have to give them my computer for that. Well, I can't spare it for a day right now. So, guess that'll have to wait. But I asked if there's perhaps a built-in CD-R drive that I could buy and they said there was one for 199 €. So I'm considering that now. Would be nice to have a CD-R readily available. However, I don't quite see why I should spend 199 € when I have the right to own a CD-drive that actually works! *waves around with the 3 years-warranty card* Maybe I can make a deal with that. They they give me a working CD drive (virtually) and I just take a CD-R one and pay them the difference. That'd be cool.

Hm, I realize this post is getting rather lengthy. I'll cut what I was writing about now and will make a new post of it.

I'm currently trying to stop a flamewar at Snapeslash. Some idiot posted a really offensive rant on what a sucker Jesus is and how all Christians are stupid and suck. I didn't get most of what she said, to be honest. At any rate, a ML isn't a place for such a totally unrelated and uncalled rant, so I put my foot down on it immediately to prevent worse.

I don't care if people think I'm being triggerhappy, but I just don't see why offensive religious debates should be taken to Snapeslash. Period. I don't give my opinion on that either. People are free to express their opinion, but they don't need a whole message just for that purpose that only has the purpose to offend people. And of course people ignore my ADMIN and just keep posting, apologizing at the end of the message "Sorry, but I just needed to add that." Well, my sweet, everybody needs to add something. That's what a flamewar is about and that's why I closed the thread.

Gonna watch it a bit more and then I'll start threatening with moderation if they don't stop. Religious debates really are among the most sensitive things you could do on a ML. I don't like them at all.

Jen, if you're reading this, I hope you're okay with my mod-job. But I do feel rather strongly about it, so I wanted it to stop right there and then.

T_T Help...

Is there anybody who happens to know US geography really well? I need help... I have no idea where Estes Park and Long's Peak is and how it can be that Meriwether Lewis apparently was in the Rocky Mountains, just as Isabella Bird, but he was in Missouri and she seems to have been in Colorado and I thought the Rocky Mountains were in Arizona... *feels stupid*
