OMG... I'm in love lust... I'm watching the first episode of this show "Young Americans" and there's an actor... *groans* Damn the opening because it was giving away the "actor's" name which happened to be a female name. Otherwise, I wouldn't have noticed for a long time that this guy was a female. This is probably going to be a plot twist, with a girl trying to sneak into a boys' school. That's very cool! And he / she looks great! Too bad that when the full light panned on him / her, it seemed as if they've put a bit more make-up on the face to make this person look more female. Too bad... I'm sure it'll just be some girl in boy's clothes to get somewhere instead of a real transgendered person. *sighs*

But still! He looks great! Squeeeeeeeee!!!!

The new Papa Roach album 'lovehatetragedy' and the P.O.D. album, European release. Woohoo! I'm especially thrilled about the Papa Roach. After all they are one of my favorite bands and I listen to their CD at least once a week or so.

Hm, it's a bit strange to think about it... when I was younger, I always immediately was a fan of a band when I liked their music. That has changed now. I don't care at all. I don't even know how the members of the bands are called. I just buy the CD when it sounds good and I enjoy listening to it.

It's funny... when I bought the Shakira album a couple of months ago my ex tried to tell me that now that I seem to be into Shakira I will also have to check out the traditional Chilenic music (or whatever it was) since she uses elements of that in her songs and all that. And I was like "Huh? Why should I? I like a couple of her songs, but I'm not going to read her biographies and find out everything about her." Sheesh. She didn't even understand that. To her, it's absolutely clear that when you "get into something", you begin learning and reading eeeeverything about it. If this person comes from Norway, you learn Norwegian, find out the history of Norway, find out everything this person ever did, read all the articles, watch every goddamn movie and what have you. I'm not like that at all.

So yes, I enjoyed Spider Man a lot. I watched it a couple of times, I think Tobey Maguire was rather cute in it. No, I don't love him now, I have no idea where he went to school and when his birthday is, I'm still not going to watch Cider House Rules since I think it's boring and I'm certainly not starting to eat vegan now. >_<

Oh well. Different concepts of fandom, I guess. I'm somehow over it. I can't really be into anything right now. I enjoy a couple of selected things, but that's about it.

I need a new obsession...
