It will never cease to amaze me... No matter how many times I tell my parents that I do NOT care for blue cheese, they will STILL try every other week to present me with some ever so sophisticated dish that contains large chunks of this disgusting mold-like structure. And I will tell them "No, I don't like any kind of blue cheese" and they will stare at me in disbelief, exclaiming "OH! Now you've stopped eating that, too?!?"...

I never liked and never will like Gorgonzola. It disgusts me. I don't care how wonderful the taste is! To use Jules' words, it may taste like pumpkin pie but I'd never know 'cause I wouldn't eat those nasty motherfuckers. Just to see those living, breathing shreds of some fungus in it makes me want to puke.

I hate it when they treat me like someone who randomly decides not to like something all of a sudden. I must admit, this has happened before. I sometimes just stop liking something. I don't know why. I liked the taste before and from one day to the other it no longer pleases me. I can't help it. And I definitely don't see why I should continue eating something that doesn't please me. But it really annoys me when I tell them repeatedly that I don't like something, don't resent them in any way for cooking it anyway and would be just as happy with some plain old noodles, and they look at me as if I was refusing to eat it simply to spoil them their meal.

GAH!!!!
