VIRUS!!!!!

Something's rotten in the state of Denmark, I tell you... Yesterday, I got this mail by some person I don't know which said "Who are you and what the hell was this?" Needless to say, I went "HUH?!?" The subject line was rather weird, too, "End Html 33". Of coure I immediately thought "Virus!" but the mail had no attachment whatsoever. So, I wrote this person back what this was about and scanned my complete hard drive, just to be sure. No results. Now she wrote me back and said she received an email from this addy with an attachment which she didn't open, of course. Virus!!!

Thing is, I don't have any mail in my outbox. I don't have this person in my address book, I don't even know her. Plus, she got this email from my bigfoot account which is just a forwarder. No setting in my mail program would sent an email that would cause a reply to the bigfoot one! So, basically, I could never send an email as bigfoot! o_O This is just very weird...

Could it be that a virus someone else got scanned their hard drive for email addies, thus found mine in several links or "send feedback to" lines and then put my addy in as sender? Is that possible? Meep... I have a virus scanner, I never open unknown attachments, I'm usually rather cautious... Meow... T_T

Okay, when did LJ stop showing special characters? This really sucks! I mean, I can live with this now, but what about people who have journals in German or French or any other non-English language? Besides, how is one supposed to do cute emoticons? I can't even do the eyebrow-lifter or the concerned frown anymore! This is VERY sucky!!!

My impossible cat...

It unbelievable what he did today. He brought in a bird at 6 AM. When my parents tried to take it from him, he zoomed off through the catflap and took it into the corridor where he released it. My parents struggled to get the bird and Sherlock jumped on the window sill near the stair case. [Note, it's about 8 feet above the ground!]. Sherlock watched my dad trying to save the bird which was flattering around like crazy. When he thought he could get the bird again, he just jumped off, missed the balustrade across the stairs and fell down the staircase between the gap that was there, crashed into the commode, slid off and landed in a basket. That must have been... 12 feet or so! o_O

That cat... -.-

But he's still alive... I guess... o.o
